As a member of the Information Technology Team, you are responsible for IT application support to handle manufacturing data. This includes both, in house developed software (new and existing systems) as well as third party systems like MES, SPC, Oracle, etc..
Young Professionals on entry level are welcome.
The role will be based in Dresden with a direct report to the Director of Application Engineering & System Support.
Key areas of responsibilities
Enhance system architecture and solution design of the manufacturing IT environment to minimize manual data handling
Full software life cycle, including:
Definition of specification with engineering team
Implementation with support of internal and external resources
Testing and release
Maintenance and performance monitoring for 24h/7day usage
Provide consultancy and training to new users, create manuals and training materials
Datamining and reporting tools

Key competencies
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of software development processes and methods
Excellent Java programming skills
Good programming knowledge in C#
Very good database skills (Oracle), ideally experience as DB administrator
Design and programming of web interfaces
Experienced with Windows and Linux OS
Knowledge of typical semiconductor production process is an advantage
Organizational skills and continuous improvement approach
Fluent in German and English
