Your tasks:
We are looking for a highly motivated Patent Searcher & Analyst, who will be responsible for the identification and evaluation of patent information, assisting inventors and drafting patent applications. This contains especially:
- Assessment of patentability of invention disclosure (prior art search)
- Formulation of reply to examination reports
- Input for patent portfolio review, marketing, licensing, and acquisition
- Input for semiconductor devices development (FTO search)
- Drafting patent applications with our patent attorney and inventors
Your profile: - University degree in Physics, electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge on physics basic semiconducting devices: pn junctions, (O)LEDs, solar cells, transistors
- Strong and demonstrated interest in intellectual property and patenting
- Fluent English and German skills (verbal and written)
- Very good analytical and organizational skills
- Very good communication skills
- Charismatic, proactive and flexible personality
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Knowledge in organic semiconductors would be a plus
- PhD in on physics of (organic) semiconductors would be a plus
